Great stuff, some excellent seo quotes there which will come in handy for The Internet Business Letter. Thanks a million for this, good blog and I can see above its all about twitter nowadays, i should really join.
Wow excellent SEO Quotes i love them.
i have been researching online on how to use seo for my site. nice seo quotes you have here ;)
I am also an seo lover
I especially like the seasoned insight only Matt Cutts could provide!
I am ablogger and I truly accept the fact Wendy Piersall. The other insight is given by Lisa Barone, it is the task of the seo to make the blog touch sky.
This ranks right up there with trying to be a world class golfer while only playing golf during your lunch break from your job at Wal-Mart
A very funny and interesting posting! There’s nothing strange there are so many interesting quotes as SEO is hardly an easy job to do, so people just have to cope with it somehow and it’s great if it’s done with the help of laughter.
My favorite:
Google only loves you when everyone else loves you first.
This one is very true. Thanks for the funny and interesting list of quotes.
SEO’s are the new real estate developers. Our skillset gives us an amazing opportunity to develop an audience on the cheap. — Brian Provost
i really like this one
Wendy’s quote above is probably absolutely right, but I’m learning the hard way that “love” is the most subjective thing on the Internet.
Is “linkbait” love? It is in terms of getting attention and search traffic for a site. Does it communicate a brand effectively, one that people want to stick with? – Ay, there’s the rub. –
We need metrics that take seriously the demographics of visitors to sites. I’m almost tempted to make my readers fill out a survey.
I think the love that Wendy refers to is the Google rankings and ensuing traffic that result from links–baited or nonbaited.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned about love is that you have to give it to get it.
My rule of thumb is build a site for a user not a spider. — Dave Naylor
this should be every one’s rule of thumb!
I read this while ago,
“Build a site for people not for search engines”
While he’s right on every part, especially about SEO not being spam, I can’t help but wonder if anyone’s ever thought that SEO is a little bag of tricks you find that work to a particular algorithm. :)
Nice SEO quotes. I like, there are three keys to good SEO: communication, content and backlinks this quote very much. By using these keys only we can get a better result. Relevant content and Back links are very efficient to make the site get a higher rankings in all search engines..
Your Lisa Barone quote is incorrectly attributed. Bruce Clay actually said that and Lisa repeated it, while correctly attributing it to Bruce in the source you submitted here. Just a head’s up! (Lisa pointed this out to me, thanks Lisa!)
Thanks for letting me know, Briana. I did some checking and verified what you said with several other sources. Correction made.
i enjoyed the QUOTES, very effective and very very practical. It increased my knowledge regarding SEO.
Great words from great persons. These quotes are very true.
content and back links matters the most for search engines when they rank any sites,Good content must be communicable and this is what they look for..
I loved the “Google only loves you when everyone else loves you first”, very funny and very true :)

It’s not the quantity of visitors but the quality that matters.
If you want a website at the top of Google, make a website that deserves to be at the top of Google.

SEA is like renting the House, but SEO is OWNING the House.
“SEO gives your website oxygen to breathe. Not to be congested and sweaty.” Boasting BiZ

my personal like is…by matt cutts
SEO is not SPAM.
Does an affiliate marketing program cause a traffic drop? No, but pure affiliate sites are unlikely to rank.
(Luisella Mazza, Google).
google rules the internet we rule google SEO
SEO is very simple and cool..
i love SEO and also like above quotes :)
Google is forever changing the rules, I am surprised these rules still apply especially the one which says “Google only loves you when everyone else loves you first.” — Wendy Piersall
For today this is what works best. If people search the keywords and find your site, like it, and share it enough especially on Google + It will rank page one even if it starts on the last page. As long as the keywords are on the page even once this works.
Thanks, these quotes are really good
